Ellen Jean Diederich

Ellen Jean Diederich graduated from Minnesota University Moorhead with a Bachelor of fine Arts and Bachelor of Arts in art education.  Her unique Neo-

Impressionistic style takes inspiration from nature and urban scenes. She primarily works in watercolor and acrylic, and her favorite subjects to paint are architecture, floral and domestic animals.  She has signature statue in the Red River Watercolor Society, the Transparent Watercolor Society of America, the Watercolor Society of Alabama and Watercolor West.  Ellen is the author of Progressive Painting and author/illustrator of two gold medal award winning children’s books, Where’s Petunia? and Samson’s Gift.  Diederich has been painting professionally since 1985.  Her publishing company, Givinity Press produces giclee reproductions as well as a line of note cards and Christmas cards.
